KS1000WL Wall-Lite is a polycarbonate wall panel system suitable for all building applications, except where the occupants or processes add significant quantities of water to the air or where there are low temperature internal environments. It is secretly fixed and can be used in a horizontal or vertical format.

Panels integrate with KS1000MR/ EB/ FL/ FL-S, MM, CX, WV and Optimo insulated wall panels.

Fasteners:

• All primary fasteners must be high thread type, manufactured from grade 304 austenitic stainless steel and fitted with minimum 15 mm diameter EPDM bonded grade 304 austenitic stainless steel washer.

• Located at the tongue and groove joint between panels, secret fix.

• Recommended fasteners are available from SFS Intec Limited, Ejot UK Limited, Mage Fasteners Limited, or Ash and Lacy Building Systems Ltd.

Kingspan will provide product guarantees on an individual project basis.

Material:

4.7 Kg/ m² class 1Y multi-wall polycarbonate sheet with 38 mm wall structure x 1000 mm cover width with an external flat profile. The external face has a proprietary UV protection surface with a hammered glass effect finish.

Thermal transmission to BS EN ISO 10211-1:

1.26 W/ m²K taking account of fasteners and joints.

4.7 kg/ m².

Fire performance:

Class 1Y to BS 476-7 and BS 476-6, classified as Class 0 as defined by the Building Regulations England and Wales.

Factory applied side joint seal:

Side joints have a factory applied seal to automatically seal the joints between panels.

Spacers and fillers:

Extruded mill finish aluminium spacers are factory adhered to the panels at tongue and groove joints between the panels as well as at tongue and groove interfaces with insulated panels. White polyethylene foam fillers are used to close the ends against supports.

Biological:

Normally immune to attack from mould, fungi, mildew and vermin. The lights are not considered deleterious.
