KONE MonoSpace requires only a single space; the shaft, so the machine room is no longer required giving architects and developers greater design freedom and saving construction costs. Lifts can now easily serve the penthouse, without unsightly equipment on the roof. The lift uses a highly reliable and eco-efficient KONE EcoDisc hoisting machine for exceptional power and performance which requires 60% less energy than a hydraulic drive unit. No oil is required and it offers a lower noise level, typically 50–55 dBA.

Standard product features
Car height:2100–2200 mm. Headroom (minimum/ maximum):3400/ 4100 mm. Pit depth:- 0.63 and 1.0 m/s: 1100 mm.
Landing doors:Glazing options available, two hour fire rating and fire fighting (BS EN 81–72) complaint doors. Controls:- Curtain of light (COL) – Safety features, prevents door closure when object detected in path of doors.
Eco-efficiency features:Includes fluorescent/ LED car lighting, car light and drive stand-by modes and signalisation dimming. Other optional features are available under controls.
Designs:A variety of pre-defined finish options for the ceiling, walls, floors, car operating panel, skirting (not R3 range) and handrail. Please consult KONE literature for exact details. If specifying a design collection option, please delete the 'Car interior' and 'Signalization' bullet point and all subsequent values. Car interior:A variety of options are available for the walls, floors and ceilings, please refer to KONE literature for exact details.
