Rockfloor Acoustic is a high compressive strength stone wool board with a tissue face finish on the top surface. The board is specifically designed as an acoustic resilient layer for 'floating floor' applications, subject to normal floor loads arising in houses, offices, shops and similar areas. For use under screeds, concrete slabs, flooring grade tongue and groove, particleboard, OSB and plywood. Rockfloor Acoustic is water repellent and rot proof, offering excellent thermal, acoustic and fire protection insulation. The product contains no blowing agents with ozone depletion potential (ODP), or global warming potential (GWP). Rockfloor Acoustic is CFC-HCFC-HFC free and 97% recyclable, and will not react with metal components or cause loss of plasticiser from PVC cable and pipes.
