Masterflex® 472 is suitable for interior and exterior use, such as joint sealing of walls, ceilings, expansion joints, concrete elements and submerged surfaces.
Joint back-up/ filler:
In expansion joints, it is essential to use bond breaking tape on the edge of the filler board or a non-bonding support material, to prevent adhesion. Consult BASF Construction Chemicals (UK) technical literature for details.
Primer:
On sound dry substrates Masterflex® 472 does not require a primer. Porous substrates subject to a high degree of movement or traffic should be primed with Elastoprime 135.
Colour:
Standard colours are white and grey. Other colours are available, subject to batch quantity.
