Masterflex® 474 is suitable for interior and exterior use, such as joint sealing of walls, ceilings, expansion joints, concrete elements and submerged surfaces. It is also suitable for internal floor joints.
Joint back-up/ filler:
In expansion joints, it is essential to use bond breaking tape on the edge of the filler board or a non-bonding support material, to prevent adhesion. Consult BASF Construction Chemicals (UK) technical literature for details.
Primer:
On sound dry substrates Masterflex® 474 does not require a primer. Porous substrates subject to a high degree of movement or traffic should be primed with Elastoprime 135.
Colour:
Standard colours are white and grey. Other colours are available, subject to batch quantity.
