For example, official LCA / carbon footprint studies by Delft University of Technology and environmental consultancy Verco show that Accoya wood is an environmentally compatible and even carbon negative - substitute for many traditional carbon intensive materials such as plastics, metals and concrete, as well as for various wood species.
