Designed specifically for the creation of wetrooms, Aquatecnic from Delta Membrane Systems features the Aquaproof tanking system. This innovative product prevents water leakage from tiled areas including wetrooms, shower areas, bathrooms and kitchens. It is compatible with a wide range of substrates including ply sheeting, shower tray formers, plasterboard, MDF, cementitious screed and most commonly available waterproof construction boards. The applied Aquaproof can tolerate normal levels of movement in a room, and resists becoming brittle with age – a fact backed-up by a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. Other benefits include its breathable nature, the ease of application, and the ease with which tiles can be fixed to the surface with standard waterproof tile adhesives.
