Combison provides sound insulation against noise from installations in the void between a suspended ceiling and the structural soffit, airborne sound between floors and impact sound between floors. Typical applications are where a partition does not extend to the soffit and where vertical noise is generated by ventilation equipment or footsteps in the floors above. Two systems are offered: Combison Duo A has an exposed grid and Combison Duo B has a recessed visible grid which creates a shadow effect that partially conceals the grid system. Both systems have demountable tiles.
