Introduction and Applications  
The Geberit HDPE system is 
suitable for commercial and 
industrial drainage applications.

Geberit HDPE is a versatile, high 
density polyethylene pipe system 
with a complete range of fittings and 
sizes to suit most drainage 
applications. 
It features:

unbreakable at room temperature  

 

with excellent impact resistance  

 at temperatures as low as -40

o

C 

·  Crush resistance - when crushed

 

or bent will return to original   

 

shape

·  Extensive range of fittings and  

 

pipe sizes from 32 mm to 315 mm 

·  Flexible and secure jointing

 

methods: butt welding,   

 

electroweld coupling, screw   

 thread jointing, ring-seal jointing

Authority  The Geberit HDPE 
system

complies with BS EN 1519

and its pipes and fittings are the 

subject of Agrément Cert. 92/2796.

Description  The Geberit HDPE 
system comprises pipes in a range 
of diameters (see Dimensions) and 
a comprehensive range of pipe 
fittings:

Composition, manufacture  All 
products are manufactured from 

HDPE (high density polyethylene).

This material exhibits the ecological 
properties of long life, has relatively 
low energy use in manufacture and 
disposal, is readily recyclable and 
releases no toxic gases when 
disposed of by incineration.

PERFORMANCE
Mechanics  High resistance to 
impact and abrasion.
Chemical  Geberit HDPE system 
components are resistant to most 
common chemicals, in particular to 
attack by disposal water and 
external factors such as acidic soils.
Heat  Operating temperature is  

-40 to +100

o

C.

Durability  The Geberit HDPE 
drainage system has a very long 
lifespan.

SUPPLY
All products are available via a 

national network of HDPE stockists,

a list of which is available from the 
company. 

Geberit Silent-db20 is the essential 
drainage system for buildings with 
increased levels of soundproofing. 
Its outstanding acoustic properties 
are achieved using patented high 
density material specially developed 

for this purpose. Ribbed fittings

further improve sound dampening 
near impact zones and acoustically 
insulated pipe brackets prevent 

solid-borne sound.

design, quotation, bespoke fittings 
and standard details. 
The Geberit Training Department 
provides CPD seminars and product 
training modules, either at the 
Geberit Academy in Warwickshire or 

on-site.
