Geberit Pluvia is a leading siphonic roof drainage system used throughout the world. The Pluvia system ingeniously uses the
gravity-induced vacuum principle to create a siphonic action, allowing the complete drainage of a roof area with smaller
diameter pipes than used in a conventional gravity system.

Applications The Geberit Pluvia
system is suitable for roofs larger
than 100 m
2
; these may be flat,
shed-type, of normal pitch, dome
shaped or arched with various
curvatures. Typical applications are
in the industrial and commercial
sectors such as factories,
warehouses, shopping centres,
airports, hotels and sports centres.
Authority Geberit Pluvia is the
subject of Agrément Cert. 92/2796
and meets the BS 8490 Code of
Practice for siphonic systems.
Description The Geberit Pluvia
system uses the gravity-induced
vacuum principle that drains a large
roof with significant water flow by
siphonic action. It uses horizontal
collecting pipes and requires fewer
stack pipes and less groundwork
than conventional drainage systems.
They also require less space overall,
a reduced size of pipework and
fewer fittings. Geberit HDPE
components have:
· High resistance to impact and
flexing
· No subsequent dimensional
changes due to heat
· High abrasion resistance
· Resistance to extreme
temperatures: operating range is
-30
o
C to +80
o
C
Installation is by a Geberit approved
installation company. A Geberit
warranty follows the installation and
commissioning.

a list of whom is available from the
company.
The Geberit Technical Department
provides the following services:
design, quotation, bespoke fittings
and standard details.
The Geberit Training Department
provides CPD seminars and product
training modules, either at the
Geberit Training Academy in
Warwickshire, or on-site.
