 sheet and coiled zinc is manufactured in Germany to the highest specification.  it is used in both roofing and 
façade applications.  it is available in both bright rolled and pre-weathered formats with rainwater goods and cladding profiles 
to suit the specifier's needs.
Titanium zinc for roofing and wall cladding
introduction  RHeinzink
®    
is the 
trade name for zinc copper titanium 
alloy, specifically developed for the 
construction industry.   
The material has been 
manufactured at the plant of 
RHeinzink GmbH & Co kG in 
Germany since 1966 and has been 
used successfully worldwide as a 
roofing and cladding material.
Applications  RHeinzink
®  
 is 
intended for roof and wall 
application and can be formed to 
suit most roof and façade designs.
DeSCRiPTiOn
RHeinzink
®    
consists of an alloy of 
zinc with the addition of titanium and 
copper. The material is 
manufactured in a continuous wide 
strip casting and rolling process.  
Further fabrication produces sheets, 
rainwater goods and cladding 
systems.

 for roofing  
RHeinzink
®  
is ideally suited for all 
roofing shapes and forms including 
domed, conical, concave and 
convex shapes using standing 
seams as the method of jointing.  
Traditional roll cap joints can also be 
used when required. All roofing 
applications must be adequately 
ventilated: the company's literature 
shows recommended detailing. A 
full range of rainwater goods is also 
available in both bright and 
pre-weathered finish.

 for façades
RHeinzink
®  
is also ideally suited 
for façade applications and is able 
to offer a full range of systems for 
architects' requirements.  
RHeinzink
®  
can be installed in a 
very traditional method with both 
standing and angled standing 
seams onto a supporting timber 
structure or formed into cassettes, 
panels or special profiles which can 
be supported on a metal framework. 
Fixing is by various methods, 
depending on the application, 
including clips, fixed and sliding, for 
standing seams and rivets and 
screws for cladding systems.  
The company's literature shows 
recommended methods of 
installation.

Appearance  RHeinzink
® 
 
develops a blue/grey protective 
layer, which protects the surface of 
the zinc and is responsible for the 
high corrosion resistance of the 
zinc. it is available in bright rolled 
and pre-weathered formats, the 
latter having an attractive blue/grey 
colour that offers the benefits and 
qualities of natural weathering.
PeRFORMAnCe
Once a RHeinzink
®  
 façade or 
roof is installed it should be 
maintenance free throughout its life. 
Correct procedures must be 
followed to ensure that the pitch of 
the roof, the ventilation of the 
structure and the detailing of the 
zinc are all in line with RHeinzink
® 
recommendations.
