total penetration of preservative
which gives the highest level of
protection against rot and insect
attack, even in direct contact with
ground and water.
All timber is planed on 4 sides and
is kiln dried before and, more
importantly, after treatment. Kiln
drying before treatment reduces
moisture content and, thus allows
maximum preservative penetration.
Kiln drying after treatment in a
controlled environment pre-shrinks
the timber and reduces any potential
warping, splitting or twisting giving a
higher quality timber.

Appearance
Southern pine has
a unique grain and
texture, and will, in
its natural state,
mature to a light
silver grey. Many variants of stain -
from solid colour, semi-transparent,
where the grain shows through, and
clear - are available for this wood,
all with a UV protector.
Ip'e has a naturally brown/red
appearance which can be
maintained with special UV oils, or,
when left in its natural state, will
weather to a silver grey.
Iroko has a natural yellow/red
appearance and may also be
protected with UV oils.
PERFORMANCE
Weather All decking is totally
weatherproof.
Fire Zero rated decking for indoor
use is available.
Durability Life expectancy is a
minimum of 40 years, and in certain
circumstances, in excess of
60 years.
ECONOMICS
Guarantees DuraPine
TM
is
guaranteed for 40 years minimum
against rot and insect decay, even
with permanent ground or water
contact. A similar warranty is also
supplied for salt water applications.
