cavity drainage membranes. Their 
range of membrane systems 
provides waterproofing solutions for 
many types of applications, 
including refurbishment, conversion, 
basements, new build, retrofit, 
construction, tunnelling and civils.

support and consultation through all 
stages of a project.
Authority  Delta Membrane Systems 
are the subject of Agrément Cert. 
00/3742. All membrane systems are 
manufactured under a quality 
and environmental system in 
accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 
and EMAS EN ISO 14001. All 
geocomposite membranes are 
approved and conform to the 
requirements of CE EN 13252: 2000, 
DIN 18195 & DIN 4095, under 
certificate number CE 0799-CPD-13.

Applications and Description
Plaster-Lath is a damp-proofing 
membrane for walls that eliminates 
damp and the effects of salts and 
contaminated backgrounds.  
It comprises a Delta membrane with 
an integral mesh key which acts as 
a key for render, plaster or dab 
fixing plasterboard. The air gap may 
be vented externally by an air vent 
or internally using the PT profile 
strips at the top and bottom.
Delta-FM is a damp-proofing 
membrane for floors and is suitable 
for new build, remedial or 
refurbishment projects. It may also be 
used on walls. It comprises a Delta 
membrane with a special low stud 
profile that minimises changes in floor 
levels but still provides an air gap to 
achieve damp pressure equalisation.
Delta-MS acts as a sub-base 
damp-proof membrane and vapour 
barrier; it comprises a single Delta 
membrane.
Delta-MS 20 is a high performance, 
heavy-duty drainage sheet for use in 
basements, underground structural 
applications and in construction 
works e.g. as permanent shuttering 
between a concrete structural wall 
and a shotcrete outer shell or 
diaphragm wall. It may be installed 
horizontally or vertically.
Delta-Drain is a high performance 
drainage system that provides full 
surface drainage around underground 
structural components. It drains off 
incoming water, filters out suspended 
soil particles and provides secure,

durable protection. It comprises a 
double-dimpled Delta membrane and 
an integrated geotextile mat.
Delta-NP-Drain is a vertical 
drainage system for use in 
underground structures, retaining 
walls and cut and cover tunnels. It 
drains off incoming water and filters 
out suspended soil particles. It 
comprises a Delta membrane and 
an integrated geotextile mat.
Delta-PT is a damp control 
membrane and drainage layer. It 
comprises a Delta membrane with a 
welded mesh that provides a key for 
plasters, renders or board finishes.
Delta MS-500 is a damp control 
membrane for use on both walls and 
floors where there is light water ingress; 
a transparent version is available. It 
comprises a single Delta membrane. 
Delta-Geo-Drain Quattro is a four 
layer, integrated system for secure 
protection and drainage of any 
waterproofed surface. It comprises a 
micro-perforated slip film, a 
laminated cloth back-up drainage 
layer, a 9 mm dimpled drainage 
cavity and a geotextile filter mat.
Delta High Performance 
Preformed Units are manufactured 
from a high performance polymeric 
material and are high frequency 
welded to form any profile.
Delta-Terraxx features a 9 mm 
dimpled sheet which acts as a 
drainage and protection layer. 
Laminated on to the dimpled sheet 
is a layer of compression-resistant 
permanent filtration geotextile that 
prevents the dimple structure from 
being clogged up by sludge, thus 
guaranteeing optimum drainage. 
It also has a sealing edge to 
facilitate sealing the sheets together. 
Can be used for vertical or 
horizontal applications.
Delta-Floraxx/Floraxx-top  These 
innovative dimpled sheets have been 
developed specifically for green 
roofs. Thanks to its unique 20 mm 
dimple structure and its innovative 
material, its functions include 
drainage, water storage, and an 
integrated PP filtration layer on top.

INFORMATION COMMON TO ALL 
PRODUCTS
Composition, manufacture   
Delta membranes incorporate a series 
of studs and are moulded from high 
performance, high density polyethylene. 
Geotextiles are of polypropylene. 
Slip films are of polyethylene.
Accessories comprise:
Delta Plug - a glass-filled, nylon 
fixing for use on masonry substrates.

tape for sealing membrane joints.
Delta Rope - a black butyl rubber 
beading for sealing the membrane 
around pipes etc.
Delta Mastic - an acrylic sealant for 
sealing the membrane around pipes 
and openings.
Delta Corner Strip - a self-adhesive 
membrane strip for sealing junctions 
at corners, joints and other details.
PT-Lath Plug - a polypropylene 
fixing, for use on masonry 
substrates, also available with 
pre-applied waterproof grommet.
Delta Cob Plug - an expanding 
fixing with pin, for use on soft or 
friable backgrounds.
Qwik-Seal Plug - a fixing for use on 
masonry and concrete substrates. 
Has a pre-applied waterproof seal.

PERFORMANCE
Chemical  Delta membranes exhibit 
excellent resistance to common 
chemicals.
Heat  Service temperature range is  
-30

o

C to +80

o

C.

Durability  Life expectancy is in 
excess of 50 years. The Agrément 
Cert. states that 'Under normal 
conditions of use, the products will 
provide an effective barrier to the 
transmission of salts, liquid water 
and water vapour for the life of the 
structure in which they are installed.' 

 

ECONOMICS
Guarantees  Delta offer a 30 year 
product warranty. Guarantees for the 
installation work can be arranged 
through Delta registered installers.

SUPPLY
All products are supplied direct 
through the company or their 
appointed distributors.  
For specialist waterproofing, the 
systems are offered on a supply and 
fix basis through a network of Delta 
Registered Installers.

SERVICES
Delta provides full technical support 
and site visits and can be consulted 
through all stages of a project. 
Technical literature is available, 
including an installation code of 
practice and a CD-ROM of CAD 
drawings to aid specification.
