Flexseal couplings
Applications Flexseal (EPDM) and
Fernco (PVC) ranges of couplings
are used for jointing and repairing
low pressure pipelines of different
materials and/or of different pipe
diameters.
Description Suitable for the
connection of pipes of virtually any
material, of 100 - 3000+ mm outside
dia., the range includes wraparound,
extra wide, drain, chemical and
adaptor couplings.
Flexseal also supplies:

Authority The Fernco Storm Drain
Plus range complies with
BS EN 1433.
Applications and description
Fernco Storm Drain Plus is
predominantly for domestic use,
such as driveways and paved areas,
and is available in recycled black
plastic and galvanized steel for load
class A, and with a ductile iron grate
for load class B. Higher load classes
are available on request.
Manufacture is with a cross braced
design and a heelguard grate. A
quadconnector component, which
can be used on a corner or
T-junction, is available.
Fernco Pipe Doctor no-dig pipe
repair system
Authority This system has WRc
approved status for repairs up to
225 mm diameter.
Applications Pipe Doctor allows
the permanent and watertight repair
of damaged pipes of virtually any
material, without the need for
excavation. The range is suitable for
Flexseal, Fernco Environmental
repairs of a straight pipe or a bend,
up to 560 mm internal diameter, and
includes a full set of accessories.
The K-Prema Internal Pipe Seal is
available for no-dig repair of pipes
up to a 4 m diameter.
Description The Fernco Pipe
Doctor is supplied in a kit format,
and is one of the UK's leading
no-dig patch repair system. A full
range of accessories, including
packers, airpush rods and a
selection of contractor starter packs
are available.
Kessel grease separators
Authority All grease separators
meet the requirements of
BS EN 1825: Part 1.
Applications comprise operations
where the disposal of grease, oils
and fats is necessary - ranging from
small restaurants to large scale food
processing plants.
Description Manufactured from
polyethylene, the units consist of a
grease separation chamber with an
integrated sludge trap located at the
bottom; following the separator is a
sampling chamber. Units are
available for underground
installation with load class options
A to D, and also free-standing
models. A full range of accessories
and a design calculation service are
available.
Kessel backwater prevention
Authority Backwater valves meet
the requirements of BS EN 13564.
Applications The Kessel
backwater prevention range protects
basements from backwater flooding.
Applications include free hanging/
exposed pipes, underground pipes
in concrete slab or pipes installed
outdoors within an underground
chamber.
Description The range comprises
selections of backwater valves and
advanced motorised backwater
pumps. These ensure a building's
waste water flows freely out of a
building whilst simultaneously
preventing any backwater from
entering the building. Valves have
no metal parts and no tools are
required.
Stormbreaker water management
systems
Applications The Stormbreaker
range can be used for attenuation,
soakaway and rainwater harvesting.
Description The Attenuation and
Soakaway ranges utilise a 95% void
system and do not need tools or
jointing clips. A domestic soakaway
kit is also available, enabling the
contractor to easily meet Building
Regulations without the need for
several separate product purchases.
The Stormbreaker rainwater
harvesting tank contains everything
required to reduce a property's
water usage by up to 50% and is
preassembled for a single delivery.
Installation and servicing are also
available.
Ultracoat 100% solids epoxy
coating system
Applications The Ultracoat system
is used for the rehabilitation and
structural reinforcement of a wide
range of substrates and is ideal for
the renovation of manholes, tunnels,
sewers, culverts, tanking, pumping
chambers, bunds and aqueducts. It
bonds well to damp substrates and
bridges and fills cracks and voids.
As there are no volatile organic
compounds (VOCs) it is suitable for
confined spaces, and its non-toxicity
enables use in chemical, sewerage,
power generation, pharmaceutical,
civil engineering, water and food/
drink production facilities. A range of
supporting products prevents
infiltration.
Description Ultracoat is a 100%
solids epoxy coating system. It
provides an exceptionally
hardwearing, smooth and
waterproof coating with excellent
chemical resistance.
