Introduction  Altro recommends the 
earliest consultation in the design 
process. This will ensure that flooring 
types and surface treatments are 
matched to the project's requirements.
When designing and selecting resin 
flooring the following factors need to 
be considered:
(1)  The condition of the sub-floor, 
for example, in refurbishment, is 
there an effective DPM? In new 
build, is there a detailed 
specification for the concrete slab?
(2)  The projected use which 
involves consideration of the 
following factors: mechanical wear, 
chemical usage, traction requirement, 
sanitisation and maintenance regime, 
colour/decorative effects, compliance 
with British and other Standards, 
hygiene requirement and economics.
Altro manufactures resins which will 
perform under the most demanding 
of these circumstances.
Authority  All products are 
manufactured under ISO 9001 and 
are tested in accordance with 
BS 6319. Altro resin systems have 
achieved ISO 14001 environmental 
accreditation. Altro is a member of 
FeRFA and has been awarded the 
prestigious title of resin 
manufacturer of the year for the last 
four consecutive years.

Floor Seals & Coatings
AltroCoat                             
Applications  Coating is ideally 
suited for use directly onto newly 
installed cementitious substrates, 
providing a fast-track system 
permitting the passage of moisture 
vapour from the substrate whilst 
providing a barrier against 
contamination from operations above. 
Description  Coating is solvent-free 
moisture tolerant epoxy coating with 
a silk finish.
AltroTect                             
Applications  Coating is ideally 
suited to warehouse, storage, plant 
rooms, aircraft hangars and light 
industrial facilities. 
Description  This solvent-free 
epoxy high-build coating has a gloss 
finish available in a wide range of 
standard colours with bespoke 
options available. It has excellent 
abrasion and chemical resistance.
AltroTect Plus has all of these 
properties and also incorporates a 
micaceous particle which lightly 
textures the surface.

Flow Applied Systems
AltroFlow                            
Applications  System is for 

application to level floors, equally 
suited to commercial, industrial and 
pharmaceutical dry-process 
environments. 
Description  A solvent-free epoxy 
resin system, this product provides 
an easily cleaned, smooth, 
seamless surface, with good 
chemical and impact resistance and 
a high-gloss finish. Available in a 
wide range of standard colours, 
bespoke options are available.

Epoxy Screeds
Altro TB Screed                 
Applications System may be 
coved, laid to falls and to vertical 
surfaces.
Description  This solvent-free 
system comprises single size 
decorative quartz aggregate bound 
in clear epoxy resin. It provides a 
high-strength, chemically resistant 
decorative floor finish.
Altro TB Rapicure             
Description  This product has all 
the benefits of Altro TB Screed 
with the added benefit of Rapicure 
Technology, allowing a rapid return 
to service with minimal lost time. It 
achieves full chemical cure after just 
16 hours at 20

o

C, with no 

associated noxious odour under 
normal installation conditions.
AltroScreed Quartz         
Applications  System may be 
coved and laid to falls.
Description  This solvent-free 
screed has blended decorative 
quartz aggregate bound with clear 
epoxy resin. This provides a 
high-strength chemically resistant 
finish in a wide range of standard 
and boutique colours.
Altro Multiscreed EP 
Applications  System can be coved 
and laid to falls.      
Description  A solvent-free epoxy 
resin system, this product evokes 
tones of concrete and stone. It 
produces a high strength floor 
screed with excellent abrasion and 
chemical resistance. 
Altro SoloSafe                   
Applications  Ideal where speed of 
installation and rapid return to 
service are essential, this product 
suits leisure, education, hospitality, 
pharmaceutical, retail, food, drink 
and industries as well as HMP, 
MOD and the emergency services.
Description  This solvent-free, 
slip-resistant decorative epoxy 
screed is fast-cure, low odour and 
self-sealing. It incorporates Rapicure 
Technology and achieves full chemical 
cure after just 16 hours at 20

o

C.

Grip Systems
AltroGrip                             
Description  This modified 
flow-applied system incorporates 
quartz aggregate to produce a 
system providing excellent impact, 
abrasion and chemical resistance 
and is offered in 24 standard 
colours. Additionally, AltroGrip 
Quartz has additional 
slip-resistance due to the larger 
aggregate size and is also available 
in a decorative, multi-colour finish.
Altro TB + Cast                   
Applications  This system can be 
coved and laid to drainage falls; it 
has been specifically formulated for 
use in wet environments such as 
kitchens, showers and 
wet-production areas.  
Description  This  solvent-free epoxy 
system has excellent slip resistance.

Heavy Duty Polyurethane 
Systems
AltroCrete PU Excel  
Applications  This system is for 
areas of potential spillage such as 
commercial kitchens, wet food and 
drink production areas and heavy 
industrial applications.
Description  This heavy duty, 
solvent-free textured floor finish is 
available in standard cure or 
fast-track options. It has excellent 
impact and abrasion resistance and 
offers resistance to a wide range of 
chemicals including organic acids 
found in foodstuffs.   
AltroFlow PUM                 
Applications  This system is 
designed for dry food production, 
general industrial environments 
such as aviation or engineering and 
back of house service areas.
Description A flow-applied, 
solvent-free resin, system is 

available in standard or fast-track 
options. It provides a smooth 
surface with a matt finish and a 
degree of slip resistance in dry 
process environments. 

ECONOMICS
Warranties Altro offers a two year 
product warranty for coatings under 
1 mm thick, a six year warranty on  
1 - 6 mm products and a ten year 
warranty on heavy-duty Altocrete 
PUXL, PUM and Altrosolosafe.
