Filters
Description Vertically mounted SLX
filters are housed in a fibreglass
outer shell with a liner of special
resin of high corrosion resistance for
use with salt water, a polyester shell
for standard use or a vinylester shell
for ozone systems.
A 1 m, or optional 1.2 m, deep high
performance filter is for use with a
sand and gravel bed. The range of
diameters from 1 - 3 m enables their
use in pools from small toddler pools
to full size Olympic pools.
A range of similar vertically mounted
TLX mild steel filters is available
with either lateral or nozzle plate
water distribution systems.
Dimensions Both the SLX and TLX
filters are available in 9 vertical units
with diameters from 1.05 - 3 m and
heights 1.71 - 2.93 m and in 14
horizontal units with a diameter of
2 m and lengths 2.5 - 3 m.
Flow rates, pressure ratings
Flow rates of up to 353 m³/hr and
pressure ratings of 2.5, 4.0 and 6.0 bar
are available.

pumps with high corrosion-resistant

are designed to pump large
quantities of water at low pressure.
3000 rpm and 1500 rpm models are
available in sizes ranging from
3 - 15 hp able to pump up to
245 m³/hr at a head of 10 m.
Swimming pool lighting
Description This range comprises
underwater commercial LED lights
housed in a 316 grade stainless
steel body each with a borasilicate
scratch resistant lens. Each has an
IP68 brass nickel plate gland with a
double-sealed resin bonded cable
support and a lifetime silicone O ring
seal between the lens and the
housing. The commercial LED light
has 14 individually positioned high
powered white LEDs, a power
consumption of 25 W and a service
life of 100,000 hours.
Dehumidification, heating and air
circulation systems
Description Systems combine user
comfort with economy, efficiency
and reliability. They offer humidity
control, pool hall air heating and
cooling, pool water heating, fresh air
ventilation, energy recovery and air
quality control in a single integrated
system.
When the humidity increases above
the required level, heat recovery
starts and energy available in the
moist air is recovered and returned
to the pool water and air. If this is
insufficient, the low pressure hot
water boiler starts to deliver hot
water to the pool and, via an air
heater battery, heat to the
surrounding air. If the humidity
continues to increase, fresh air
dampers automatically open and
fresh air is drawn in. Humid hot air
extracted is passed through a heat
exchanger to extract heat which is
used to heat incoming air. A fully
integrated control system automatically
controls the entire process and
displays relevant information. Large
models can provide refrigerated
cooling where necessary.
