Coopers fire and smoke curtains 
allow architects and designers 
greater design freedom in their use 
of open spaces. The range offers:

FireMaster and SmokeStop 
curtains remain retracted in steel 
housings within the ceiling void, 
deploying automatically only in the 
event of fire or when triggered by an 
alarm.

FireMaster curtains allow easy 
escape for occupants and entry for 
emergency services either through or 
under the curtains, which quickly 

reseal when penetrated. Features

include auto-retract and fully 
addressable monitoring systems that 
can be interfaced with dedicated fire 
and smoke alarm systems with either 
local or remote monitoring.
Systems are available with full 

'Gravity Fail Safe' feature which

ensures a safe, controlled descent 
in the event of a total power, wiring
or control failure.

Dimensions  Units are available to 
fit widths of up to 54 m and drops of 
up to 12 m.

FireMaster & ViiFire both achieve 

four hour FR to BS 476: Part 22:

Clause 8 and/or one hour 'insulating

zone' and/or BS EN 1634: Part 1: 90

minutes FR as well as fully

complying to BS PAS 121: 2007. 

Fitted horizontally it achieves two hour

FR to BS EN 364.

SmokeStop complies with 
BS EN 12101 + CE Mark, or BS 7346: 
Part 3.

after-sales service and 
maintenance.
