assessment.
Mineral fibre panels
Description Armstrong offers a
comprehensive range of over 25
panel systems manufactured from
wet felt mineral fibre. These provide
a wide choice of finishes from
smooth textures to fissured patterns
including perforated, geometric,
striated and patterned with various
edge details, sizes, colours, designs
and performance options. The latter
includes differing acoustic and fire
reaction performances, humidity
resistance and impact resistance.

The Ultima and Perla acoustical
ranges offer superior durability with
a fine visual finish
The Visual range of open cell panels
The Bioguard range whose surface
treatment inhibits the growth of
bacteria and moulds
The Dune range, in particular Dune
Supreme, which offers good
acoustical absorption and attenuation,
is 99% RH humidity resistant and has
a ten year warranty.
Metal panels
Description The Orcal range of
metal ceilings is available in a
variety of modules, perforations,
colours and acoustic treatments
such as the B15 infill and a black
acoustic fleece.
The AS range offers customised
metal ceilings based on the company's
design expertise and specialist
manufacturing capability. Options
comprise panel types and sizes,
special sections, perimeter details,
ceiling interfaces and curved ceilings.

Wood panels
Description The Madera range of
wood ceiling panels offers a choice of
surfaces either plain or perforated with
an acoustical black tissue fleece on the
reverse. Manufactured from medium
density wood fibres or chipboard, the
finish surface is of wood veneer - US
cherry, US maple and beech, or
laminate - curly maple, pear or lime.
Soft fibre panels
Description Optima, Nevada & the
OP range of ceilings produce high
levels of sound absorption with
a
w
up to 1.00. Optima panels have
glass wool as a core material with a
strong surface formed by an
abrasion-resistant paint on a glass
fibre face scrim; all edges are
painted to avoid dispersion of fibres.
Nevada panels have rock wool as a
core material with a face scrim of
glass fibre with a bright white paint.
Hygien washable panels have a
reinforced surface of two layers of
glass fibre tissue that can be
cleaned with high-pressure water
systems of up to 80 bar.
Suspension systems
Description The Trulok range of
suspension systems, including
Peakform, comprise 15, 24 and
35 mm grids.
The Axiom range offers solutions
for changes in level and the flush
transition of suspended ceilings.
The Dry Wall Grid System (DGS)
is a quick and easy to install
suspension system for plasterboard
ceilings and is available in a range
of three systems: Shortspan,
Faceted and Standard.
Canopies
Description Infusions, Ultima,
Orcal, Optima, and the Axiom C
and KE canopy kits allow the
specifier to sculpt, create and
accentuate an open space. Installing
canopies will create distinctive
ceiling angles, enhance lighting or
improve the acoustics of any space.
