Introduction
Finnframe floor system
A single, standards-compliant
solution guides the specifier from
drawing board to finished building.
The Finnframe floor system does the
job of specifying. It converts floor
plans into a 3D image of the
supporting structure together with a
complete bill of materials and
detailed site plans. Those plans go
with Finnjoists and other engineered
wood products to provide a
comprehensive drawing board to
building site flooring system.
The Finnframe floor system is an
inspired mix of quality, technology,
and service - a total flooring system
devised specifically for the UK
construction industry. Most important
of all, it is a flooring system that
complies with Eurocode 5.
Fully engineered for better
performance
Engineered and factory-produced to
give uniform strength, rigidity, size
and weight, Finnforest's engineered
wood products out-perform
traditional solid wood construction.
Produced at reduced moisture
content the company's engineered
wood products are some of the most
stable on the market today.
A commitment to the environment
The environmental credentials of
Finnforest's Finnframe floor system
are without parallel. Finnframe
satisfies the most stringent
requirements for sustainability.
Finnforest hold full Chain of Custody
and environmental certification
under PEFC for every Finnjoist (FJI)
supplied. That is why the specifier
can rely on Finnframe - and on the
Finnjoist (FJI) that supports it all.
Whether involved in government or
local authority projects, or if
specifiers have a strong
environmental charter, specifing
Finnjoist (FJI) meets current
standards, including the latest
government Timber Procurement
Policies.
DESCRIPTION
Finnframe products
Finnjoist (FJI)
Finnjoist (FJI) forms the heart of
Finnforest's floor system. With its
Kerto flange and high quality OSB
web it has a high strength to weight
ratio and produces lighter, longer
spans. Finnjoists have full 3rd party
accreditation through the BM Trada
Q-Mark and are the first product on
the market to gain the European
Type Approval (ETA) and the CE
mark.
Kerto-S
A strong, lightweight, rigid, and
dimensionally stable timber product
made from 3 mm rotary-peeled
spruce veneers. Kerto-S is ideal for
beams and long spans, combining
the strength of an engineered wood
product with the ease of use of
softwood.
Kerto-Q
Engineered in the same way as
Kerto-S but with some cross-laid
veneers, Kerto-Q is renowned for its
dimensional stability and
loadbearing performance.
