Among the many benefits of the Delta-TRELA underlay for metal-clad roofs is its ability to reduce the rainfall noise being transmitted into a building by up to 8dB(A).
Delta-TRELA is an elastic, sound-absorbing breather membrane that offers the perfect protection against corrosion and moisture.
It can be used in all types of metal-clad pitched roofs and metal-clad walls.
Consisting of a base sheet laminated with an 8mm thick dimple-textured random-fibre mat, it provides a permanent air gap under the cladding and allows effective drainage of moisture.
Residual water vapour in rafters and sheathing can escape due to the high permeability of the base sheet. The closely spaced dimple texturing reduces friction, permitting free thermal expansion and contraction of the cladding.
