The Pilkington range of fire-resistant glass comprises Pyrostop, Pyrodur, Pyrodur Plus and Pyroshield products: all meet the UK regulatory requirements for integrity only or integrity with insulation. Pyrostop is a clear, multi-laminated glass that offers integrity and heat insulation to limit the transmission of conductive and radiant heat. It gives up to 120 mins integrity and insulation in suitable glazing systems. With fewer laminate layers, Pyrodur and Pyrodur Plus clear glass offer integrity and some heat insulation, restricting the spread of flames and hot glass, and partially reducing the transfer of radiant heat. Pyroshield and Pyroshield Safety are monolithic, fire-resistant wired glasses which provide up to 120 mins integrity only.
