Flat roof access is by a concertina loft ladder with a double sealed upper cover and heating inside and 30 & 90 min. fire resistant trapdoors below. Electric drive below and above trapdoors is fitted. Units are suitable for ceiling heights of up to 4600 mm and have ready to fix elements. Upper cover is large enough for 80 - 120 mm of side insulation and is fitted with an electrical heating system to prevent build-up of snow and ice with automatic or thermostatic operation available. Options include weatherproof roof hatch, top opening by cable pull, guard rail inside hatchbox, locks for below and above cover, powder coated concertina stair in RAL colours, seal against dust in trapdoor and 3 part wooden folding ladder.
