Bilco pit and floor doors are available for external and internal usage in a comprehensive choice of sizes, designs and configurations with some models accepting a wide variety of flooring materials. Types range from small interior floor doors with insets for carpets and tiles to reinforced doors for areas of heavy traffic or high security. Other types include drainage doors used where liquids may enter the access opening and fire doors with 1 or 2 hour fire rating. Engineered lift assistance for smooth, easy operation and automatic hold-open arm that locks the cover open are fitted. Construction is from corrosion-resistant materials and hardware. Customised designs can include security options, motorised operation, different finishes and safety aids.
