Our multi foil insulation is a thermal insulant, air leakage barrier and vapour barrier in one. It is BBA certified, Part L compliant and NHBC accepted. Using reflective technology, Gen-X multi foil is lightweight, space-saving, requires minimal additional insulation and minimal truss depth. Our multi-foil insulation consists of 7 layers but is only 33mm thick (compresses to 3mm) and weighs just 13kg per roll. It has an R-Value of 1.9m2 K/W, is resistant to tearing (300-450N/BS EN 12310-1) and is Class ‘E’ BS EN ISO 11925-2 for flammability. This is an extremely durable product, with a lifespan equivalent to the structure into which it is incorporated.
