IG’s new guides outline the latest developments in lintels and masonry supports

The new IG guide is the most comprehensive yet published, and contains seven individual brochures.

IG produces the UK’s largest range of steel lintel solutions, and is well known for the ability to design and produce bespoke solutions to meet even the most complex architectural challenge. The guide outlines the full range, which is compatible with all types of cavity wall, solid wall and timber frame constructions, and which has been developed to take account of changing building requirements.

New products include the remarkable Hi-Therm Lintel, which is up to seven times more thermally efficient than a standard lintel, and yet provides a low cost method of carbon reduction and compliance with existing and proposed 2013 Building Regulations.

Also included in the guide are IG’s bespoke Brickwork Feature Lintels, which enable the creation of complex brick arches and brickwork detailing where matching brick slips are applied in a factory environment.

Details of the unique Qwik Fix masonry support with six way adjustability are also included, along with the IG Wind Posts range and Cavity Trays
