TowerLatch and LadderLatch systems and Constant Force posts offer personal safety for workers at height on most types of structure. Both systems meet or exceed all relevant international standards. Continuous, hands-free protection is afforded by the systems' universal attachment device - the starwheel - that rotates freely through intermediate cable guides. In the event of a fall, the TowerLatch or LadderLatch unit locks onto the cable to arrest the fall and a fluorescent red indicator is exposed to indicate that a fall has occurred. A built-in Constant Force energy absorber or a webbing energy absorber on the device ensures that the maximum load on the worker and end anchor in the event of a fall does not exceed 6 kN.
