The pantile edge and associated work at a rooflight cill on a warm roof is detailed, in particular, use of lead flashing fixed to a tilting fillet sealed with a silicone bead under a rooflight flange. The positioning of structural support, internal finish, counterbatten, plywood packer, rigid insulation and vapour barrier are also shown in relation to elements of the rooflight such as its frame, winder mechanism, timber liner, fixing bracket and double glazing. It advises the checking of details for compliance with applicable local authority by-laws, Acts of Parliament and BS codes of practice.
