Planar systems enable architects to create a complete glass building envelope with facades on any plane. Support structures include glass mullions, conventional steel structures and Planar TS design. Glass mullions are of laminated glass which enable vertical and horizontal applications and enhance structural durability. Planar Triple is a triple glazed frameless system with achievable U-values of 0.8 W/m2K. Planar Integral uses a bolt fixing which allows for the use of a wider range of glasses with Planar Heavy Duty using improved bolt fittings to enable heavier and larger insulated glass units to be accommodated. The TS (Tension Structures) system has tension assisted glass walls with primary truss with secondary rigging, bow string truss or cable truss.
