Rainwater Harvesting Systems
Product catalogue
Nu-Heat’s rainwater harvesting system utilizes water collected from the roof through existing gutters and down pipes, passing it through a filtration system into a holding tank where it can be stored. Water is then drawn off via a pump passing to the required outlet as and when required.
The system will draw on the rainwater first, but in the event of an empty storage tank, the control unit will automatically switch to mains water supply. The amount of water that can be harvested depends on average rainfall, the size of the roof and filter efficiency.
Nu-Heat’s rainwater harvesting system can replace 30–50% of the mains water consumption, making a significant difference to an average family’s water bills where a meter is fitted.
