ribaproductselector.com will search for all documents that contain your search term, regardless of where that term appears within the document. Here are some examples of how you can search:

Search for a phrase

To search for a phrase, where the words must be together, put this search in inverted commas, eg “aluminium window”. This is important for specific searches.

Search for two or more words

Entering more than one word in the search window without inverted commas, eg aluminium window, searches for documents that contain both these words somewhere, but not necessarily together. You can also enter this type of search using AND, eg aluminium AND window. This is a good way of narrowing your search. You can combine this with searching for a phrase, eg insulation AND “aluminium window”.

Search for either one word or another

If you add OR between two search terms, ribaproductselector.com will search for documents that contain either of these words, eg aluminium OR window. This will broaden your search and increase the number of documents found.

Search for a document containing one word but not another

By adding NOT between two words, eg aluminium NOT window, ribaproductselector.com will search for documents that contain aluminium but do not contain window. This is a good way of narrowing your search results.
