Swish specialises in roofline and rainwater systems and its products are heavily used in the Specification arena. Swish Rainwater systems have a reduced carbon footprint because they contain a high proportion (approximately 84%) of post consumer recycled PVC derived from old PVC windows and gutter systems. Therefore, a 70% saving in CO2 output is made during production of these profiles as producing components from recycled PVC requires a fraction of the energy needed to make virgin PVC. Roofline & Cladding – Swish Cellular PVC is a highly sustainable material, well suited to the exposed conditions at the roofline and on clad façades. Properly installed, Swish material will last the lifetime of the building without costly maintenance and can be fully recycled at the end of its service life. Swish is very conscious of its responsibilities and holds BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing Certification. Under the Code for Sustainable Homes PVC cladding over a suitable timber framework forms an A+ external wall system and Swish cladding and roofline systems qualify as Tier 1 products under the Responsible Sourcing section.
