In April 2007 Ted Todd provided the flooring for the iconic “Gherkin” designed by Sir Norman Foster, based in the heart of London’s financial district. The project featured End Grain Oak Lacquered and was fitted using Unisil Adhesive and a cork Expansion system which provides a beautiful finish to the clean and minimalist interior of the Konditor and Cook Food Shop and Eatery. Ted Todd’ s engineered End Grain Oak provides a modern take on an inspired alternative to planks cut from the length of the tree resulting in greater stability, same fabulous looks.
