Waterproofing The Shard's Plant Rooms with RIW
Case Study
Renzo Piano involved RIW in the design process for the waterproofing of this iconic building. Additional protection was needed for the watertight concrete in the basement, so RIW Toughseal was specified to completely seal the plant rooms. RIW Toughseal is a chemically resistant, waterproof liquid coating typically used in plant rooms and under raised access floors.
