Aluminium pressure-locked gratings, available in a wide range of variants.

Features and benefits:

  • Good light and air permeability.
  • Suitable for use in a variety of applications.
  • Provides a high load capacity and torsional rigidity.
  • The production method ensures that end meshes of the same size as the grating are produced. As a result, bearing and crossbars are flush with the adjacent grating, making the grating suitable for areas which require an aesthetic appearance.
  • Also available in stainless steel and steel variants.

Can be used in a wide range of architectural projects, including:

  • Platforms.
  • Landings.
  • Walkways.

Standard product features

In slotted bearing bars, stable cross bars are inserted. The high pressure and the slit formation of the bearing bars ensure a secure connection for a warp-resistant structure.

- Anti-slip:

Punched on the upper side. Through a variety of shaping options and combinations, rating groups up to R13 according to BGR 181 are achieved, which have been confirmed by type approval testing for various types of gratings.

- Heavy-duty:

Can be manufactured for many applications depending on the clear span.

- Narrow-pitch:

Designed to be anti-slip when installing outdoors. The rating group of R10 according to BGR 181 must be met by additional profiling of the crossbars.

- Treads:

Consists of a specially shaped and perforated nosing, a tread made of pressure-locked gratings and perforated side panels. To facilitate site assembly, the end plates are provided with a plain hole and slotted hole each side. Perforated nosing edges increase the bearing capacity of the stair treads and significantly contribute to a safe footing on a staircase.

Special designs are also available, including shelf gratings and sun protection gratings. Consult manufacturer for details.

Gratings are manufactured in a wide range of heights and thicknesses. In the cross bar direction, the production size should by default not exceed 1.6 mm. In some cases, a larger cross bar size is possible; consult manufacturer for details.

Pressure-locked gratings with bearing bars up to 50 x 3 mm are edged with a shaped, twice ribbed banding bar or a flat material as standard. Such gratings can also be edged with a T-profile. Pressure-locked gratings with bearing bars larger than 50 x 4 mm are edged with flat material as standard, other options may be available.
