Stylite UFH Panels are an innovative and practical low profile routed EPS board which allows underfloor heating pipes to be laid directly into the insulation layer, with no need for fixings.

For use with underfloor heating systems and offering excellent thermal and compressive values, the boards are available in a variety of sizes. Bespoke designs and sizes are also available.

The boards are often utilized with the use of spreader diffusion plates to further disperse the heat from the hot water pipes. The manufacturer recommends that any boards thinner than 25 mm should be manufactured in EPS 150 upwards.

EPS is rot proof and durable, and will remain effective as an insulation for the life of the construction; it is not affected by bacteria, moulds or fungi and will not provide nutrient value for insects or vermin.

- At 1% to EN 13163:

Thermal conductivity (Lambda 90/90) to EN 13163:

  • EPS 70: 0.038 W/m·K.
  • EPS 100: 0.036 W/m·K.
  • EPS 150, 200, 250 and 300: 0.034 W/m·K.
  • Plustherm: 0.030 W/m·K.

Reaction to fire to EN 13051-1:

  • EPS 70–300: Euro class F.
  • Plustherm: Euro class E.

Bending strength to EN 12089:

  • EPS 70: 115 kPa.
  • EPS 100 and Plustherm: 150 kPa.
  • EPS 150: 200 kPa.
  • EPS 200: 250 kPa.
  • EPS 250: 300 kPa.
  • EPS 300: 350 kPa.

Water absorption to EN 13163:

  • EPS 70: 0.015–0.030 (mg Pa-1 h-1 m-1).
  • EPS 100, 150 and Plustherm: 0.009–0.020 (mg Pa-1 h-1 m-1).
  • EPS 200, 250 and 300: 0.006–0.015 (mg Pa-1 h-1 m-1).
