Noise isolating membrane used as a structural treatment for reducing sound transmission. Contains no lead or asbestos materials and is typically applied as part of a layered wall or floor construction to decouple the assembly, convert acoustic energy to heat energy and minimize flanking transmissions through the building's own substrate.

Performance:

  • Fire: UL Classified file # R21490, BS 476-7 / BS476-21 Parts 1 and 2, BS EN 1364 and BS 476-22 Parts 1 and 2, BS EN 1365.
  • Heat tolerance: May be used in temperatures up to 93°C (200°F).
  • No mould, fungal or algae growth and no distortion.
  • Non corroding, waterproof.
  • Light: Resistant to UV light.
  • Electrical: High resistance.
