A high quality, multilayer piping system engineered for minimal pressure loss and fast processing; designed for flexible floor installations.

Features and benefits:

  • Can be quickly and easily prepared straight off the coil, enabling connection work to be efficiently conducted.
  • Large diameters of up to 63 mm are available to ensure suitability for use in riser and distribution pipes.
  • Manufactured from durable plastic.
  • Up to 30% less assembly time, as the system doesn’t require an O-ring (complex calibration is no longer required, and high pressure losses are no longer an issue).
  • Has the same qualities as metallic piping systems, e.g. good hydraulic qualities and quick, easy installation.
  • Connectors are corrosion resistant and durable.
  • Permanently reliable.
  • Uninterrupted optimum flow rate, enabling smaller dimensioning.
  • Cost saving through lower material requirements.
  • Shorter output times, leaving reserves for use during consumption peaks.
  • Pipes will retain their shape and resist buckling.
  • Can be bent by hand and matched to individual installation conditions (on dimensions up to 32 mm).
  • The butt-welded aluminium layer serves as a diffusion barrier, which helps to prevent oxygen penetrating through the pipe wall and into the medium.
  • Flexible, and can be used in tight situations (e.g. in installation shafts or for pre-wall installations).
  • Low risk of stagnation and germination.
  • Suitable for use with both hot and cold water.
  • Has three pre-insulated connection blocks, and can therefore be used with both wall and floor connections as necessary.
  • Pre-assembled press sleeves are made of stainless steel to ensure uniform and torsion resistant pressing of the pipe and sealing contour.
  • Can be added to existing installations without the need for additional adapters, and is compatible with pipes from Viega Pexfit Pro and Viega Pexfit Fosta systems.

To guarantee quality, all system components are manufactured by Viega.

Press connectors:

The press connectors are equipped with the Viega SC-Contur, which is a safety technology approved by Kitemark, and ensures that the connection is guaranteed to be leaking in an unpressed state. In this way, inadvertently unpressed connections are noticed immediately during a leakage test.

The connectors may only be pressed with Viega press machines with constant pressing force (e.g. Viega Pressgun 5 and Viega Pressgun Picco). Consult manufacturer for details.

Viega guarantees that unpressed connections are visible during a leakage test:

  • With the wet leakage test in the pressure range from 0.1–0.65 MPa (1.0–6.5 bar).
  • With dry leakage test in the pressure range from 22 hPa–0.3 MPa (22 mbar–3.0 bar).

Fittings are offered in various configurations, including:

  • Elbows.
  • T-pieces.
  • Adapter pieces/ adapter elbows.
  • Couplings.
  • Wall plates.
  • Mounting units.

Suitable for use in hygienically sensitive buildings such as hospitals and care facilities, and in standard housing constructions for:

  • The provision of safe drinking water.
  • Heating installations e.g. radiators.
