A high modulus, two-part silicone secondary sealant with low thermal conductivity for use in energy efficient insulated glass units (IGU).

It offers good adhesion to glass, metal and a variety of different substrates including plastics. The sealant is beneficial for use in solar thermal bonding, internal partition wall bonding and window bonding, where a strong glass-to-metal or glass-to-plastic connection and a fast process with short cycle times is required.

Strong chemical adhesion is built in less than one hour to glass and depending on the mixing ratio, cure speed can be significantly faster when compared to a standard structural glazing and bonding silicone.

  • Used in IG units specified for all structural glazing applications including ETAG 002.
  • Suitable for air and gas-filled double and triple glazed units according to EN 1279–2 and –3.
  • Tested in accordance with EN 1279–4 and –6.
  • Good adhesion to glass and a wide range of warm edge spacers.
  • High temperature stability: -50°C to +150°C.
  • Good resistance to ozone and ultraviolet (UV) radiation.


Suitable for use in unitized facades, toggle system designs, glass corners, wooden façade designs, windows and doors, etc. It can help enhance overall energy efficiency in high performance IGU and facade applications when combined with warm edge spacers.

  • Tensile strength at break to ISO1 8339: 1.13 N/mm².
  • Durometer hardness, Shore A to ISO 8339: 41.
  • Design stress in tension (dynamic, to ETAG 002): 0.14 MPa.
  • Design stress in shear (static, to ETAG 002): 0.010 MPa.
  • Water vapour permeability (2.0 mm film) to EN 1279-4: 12.2 g/m²·24h.
  • Gas permeability (2.0 mm film) to EN 1279-4: 1.01 g/m²·h.
  • Thermal conductivity to EN 12667 (λ): 0.186 W/m·K.
  • Declared thermal conductivity to EN ISO 10456:2007 (λD) 0.19 W/m·K.
