The tile is low in weight ensuring quick and easy installation. The product surface provides the highest level of sound absorption. Industrial Ceiling Panels have a pre-painted surface finish, coated edges and a sealed back.
Primarily used as a concealed or semi-concealed noise absorber behind other surfaces.

Sound absorption:
To ISO 11654: 1.00 αw. Class A.
Reaction to fire:
To BS EN 13501-1, Class A1.
Fire performance:
- Can withstand more than 1000°C for more than 120 minutes without melting.
- To BS 476-21 and -23, 60 minutes with edge detail A.
- In accordance with BS 476-22, 30 minutes fire resistance (integrity only).
Humidity resistance and dimensional stability:
- Dimensionally stable, even at humidity levels of up to 100% RH.
- As the humidity inside a building has no influence on Rockfon ceiling tiles, the ceiling can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0-40ºC. No acclimatisation is necessary.
- Retains superior properties even in infrequently heated and unheated rooms.
- Precautions should be taken to avoid condensation risks.
- In accordance with BS EN 13964, predominantly classified as class 1/C/0N. Certain module sizes are class 2/C/0N.
Light reflection:
- Black: In accordance with DIN 5036-3: 0%.
- Opal: In accordance with DIN 5036-3: 72%.
Thermal conductivity:
In accordance with EN 12667: Minimum thickness 30 mm, measured λD = 37 W/mK.
Demounting:
Rockfon tiles with A-edge can be demounted.
Cleaning:
- Can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment up to 12 times a year.
- Stone wool is an inorganic material which is not attacked by rot, fungi or bacteria. This makes for a cleaner and healthier indoor environment.
Emissions:
Awarded the Finnish M1 emission classification for building materials and the Danish Indoor Climate Label for low VOC emission products.
