Lacomet FL (FL for flexible) is an alternative to lead for flashing applications. Specifically designed for the construction industry, Lacomet FL is universally applicable, extremely lightweight, durable and environmentally acceptable. Lacomet FL is made from two layers of unalloyed corrosion resistant aluminium with an inlay of fibre to provide flexibility and strength, used as an alternative solution to lead flashing and ideal for replacement work and new build. Lacomet FL is lead free, has a minimum 50 year life expectancy and 10 year guarantee, it is recyclable, retains its shape, has a low expansion coefficient, is UV and temperature resistant, matt grey colour and supplied in standard lead roll widths x 10 m or 6 m rolls. It is ideal for all standard flashing work.
