Phillip Morant School Atrium Canopy

Case Study
Fordingbridge were commissioned to design and build a 715m2 atrium canopy for Phillip Morant School, Colchester. Collaboration was central to the success of the project, with the paving, lighting and double glazing elements all having to be installed during construction time.

One end of the structure hosts a screen printed gable, designed by an art teacher for extra ventilation. On the opposite side, curtain walling rests on double glazing, incorporated into the design for added security. Additionally, our very own Hinton tensile canopy prevents the windows and subsequent inside environment from overheating.
