Halton Borough Council had an easy decision to make in choosing Brett Landscaping to work with them on a key infrastructure project.
The project was to rebuild and renovate a dual carriageway’s central reservation. The reservation, which featured low-level walls retaining grass verges, was showing signs of damage. The old low-level walls of the central reservation had crumbled and weathered due to a combination of weathering and rainwater pressure behind the wall.

Brett Landscaping has been able to supply a modified kerb system to keep traffic flowing across a key bridge in the historic seaside town of Rhyl, North Wales.
Brett Landscaping’s Trief GST1A kerbs were used across the Vale Road bridge which helps to connect the town to the rail station. The kerb units could offer a unique solution to protect the Victorian bridge structure without compromising the existing access across the bridge

major regional distribution centre for
fast-growing supermarket chain, Lidl.
The £50million development is situated on the
Doncaster iPort logistics estate, and is the hub
for more than 53 supermarket stores based
across South Yorkshire, the Midlands and
Lincolnshire. With more than 3,900 pallets
leaving the site via HGV each day to supply the
supermarket network - the road system around
the site needed a protective set of barriers that
could withstand the persistent heavy goods
traffic using the site.

Early in the design of this site it was decided that only a
Concrete Block Permeable Pavement would work for the access road in this housing development. This was
because the existing drainage infrastructure was already working close to its capacity and would not be able to
cope with any additional run off from this, or any other new, developments.

way to the successful installation of
an impressive 3,000m2 of road and
footpath paving using Brett paving
products at Chase Grammar School in
Cannock. The new paving significantly
improves the school’s previous expanse of tarmac and will help accommodate its expanding pupil intake
which has nearly tripled in recent

Council seeks creative solutions after landslip destroys road between Saron and Cyffylliog, Wales.
Brett Landscaping
Denbighshire County Council (DCC) asked for help from Brett
Landscaping when two substantial landslips destroyed part of a rural
unclassified road.
Approximately 55m of single carriageway road between Saron and Cyffylliog needed to be rebuilt quickly after it had fallen away, down
a slope into the river below.
