Unique coastal house with a bespoke Hunter Douglas Ceiling System

Case Study
The Pavilion at Coldingham Bay in the Scottish Borders is sustainable property in a challenging location. Featuring the Hunter Douglas SLR carrier rails for internal and external ceilings together with the new wall cladding system, the solid wood linear open ceiling in Western Red Cedar was chosen for both its aesthetic qualities and longevity. Fire treated for internal and external application, the wood is interspersed with a black non-woven felt to help the acoustics. Externally, a powder coated black metal infill was used for durability and to prevent damage from wildlife.
